Before Waxing Appointment

  • The hair should be at least ¼ inch (0,6 mm) to ½ inch (1,25 cm) long for waxing to be effective.
  • ​Before waxing avoid any exfoliation of the area: chemical peel; microdermabrasion; laser resurfacing, microchaneling, microneedling.
  • Do not apply any irritating, alcohol or acid based products on the area.
  • Avoid sunburn.
  • Area should be free of open cuts, sores, or lesions.
  • If you are allergic to the Beeswax you should not do waxing
  • Taking orally or applying topically any of the following medications: Accutane, Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, Differin, Azelex, or other topical vitamin A; Hydroquinone; Cortisone or blood-thinning medications is contraindication for waxing.
